Hello, I’m Katy! I’ve been creating beautiful hair since 2004, and I’ve been part of The Strand since it opened in 2013. I love building close, fun relationships with my clients, joking, teasing, and making sure your time in my chair is enjoyable and rewarding.

I specialize in pixie cuts and short women’s haircuts likes lobs and bobs that are designed to be low-maintenance and easy to style. My work focuses on dimensional highlights and color maintenance, with a particular emphasis on single-process color. I’m all about creating hair that looks great in your everyday life and grows out naturally, so you don’t have to spend forever in front of the mirror.

In my personal time I’m focused on my two amazing kids, Eliza and RJ. I’m active on the PTA at our school and enjoy cheering on my children at their sports and community activities.
